Strawberry Cheesecake Bread

If you like strawberries and cheesecake, this is a tasty treat. This strawberry cheesecake bread is good as is or with homemade strawberry glaze!

Ingredients

Bread:

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/3 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Stick Butter room tmep
  • 8 oz Fresh Strawberries washed and siced
  • 2 Cups Flour

Cheesecake Filling:

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 Strawberries washed and diced

Glaze:

  • 3 Strawberries washed
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350. Grease loaf pan.

Bread:

  • Add butter and sugar to a large mixing bowl or stand mixer and beat until smooth.
  • Add egg, vanilla, salt, baking soda, milk for the bread and mix well.
  • Then add in flour and mix well.
  • Fold in the sliced strawberries.

Cheesecake Filling:

  • In another mixing bowl beat cream cheese, egg, vanilla, and sugar until fully blended.
  • Fold in diced strawberries.

Putting Together & Baking:

  • Pour half the bread mixture into the greased pan. Make a grove in the center.
  • Dump the cheesecake filling into the grove and try not to allow it to get to the edges.
  • Dump the rest of the bread mixture over the cheesecake mixture making sure to fill in the edges with the bread mixture.
  • Place in the center of the preheated oven and bake for 53-55 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and allow to totally cool before slicing.

Glaze:

  • In a tall cup add strawberries, sugar, and vanilla.
  • Blend well with an immersion blender. Be sure to mix until fully blended. You may need to lift the blender a few times.
  • Spoon glaze over bread and serve.
