Peanut Butter Cheesecake Ingredients Needed:
Butter: butter helps to work as a glue so to speak for the base of the crust for the cheesecake. It also helps to add to that rich and decadent flavor.
Oreo Cookies: these will be used as the crust as well as mixed through the cheesecake. We also used them to dress up the top of the cheesecake to make it more appealing to the eye.
Cream Cheese: this is almost always the starting base of any cheesecake.
Vanilla Extract: you can use imitation or the real deal. They both work just as well to make this peanut butter cheesecake recipe.
Heavy Whipping Cream: this is used alongside the cream cheese for the cheesecake. If you don’t want to take the time to whip your own cream, you could use a large tub of whipped topping in its place.
Creamy Peanut Butter: we used creamy peanut butter but if you are wanting to add a little crunch to the cheesecake you can use chunky.
Powdered Sugar: also known as 10x sugar or confectioners sugar. This is used instead of granular sugar as it does not leave a grainy texture to the no-bake like granular can.
Whipped Topping: Cool Whip or whipped topping can be used as a topping or garnish if you want. This is an optional ingredient.

Important Teaching Tips:
This should be chilled in the fridge for at least 3 hours before serving to allow it to chill and set up. If you are pressed for time, you can speed things up a little. Instead of putting it in the fridge place it in the freezer for 30 minutes before serving.
If you do not have a springform pan this can also be made in a push pan.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Can this be made in a pie pan?
A. No. You need to use a deeper pan as this is a thick peanut butter cheesecake.
Q. Could this be made with other flavored Oreos?
A. You can! Just be sure to use a flavor that works well with peanut butter.
Q. Can you use cool whip instead of heavy whipping cream?
A. Yes! If you want to skip a step of whipping your own cream it can be swapped out for cool whip or another whipped topping.
