If you are looking for a new dessert cocktail to try, I have just one for you. I am sharing this cheesecake cocktail recipe. Some also call it a cheesecake martini.

This cheesecake drink is an alcoholic drink so it is only intended for those of the legal drinking age. It has the flavor of cheesecake with just a hint of coffee flavor that comes from the Kahlua.

This recipe makes one sweet cocktail. If you want to make it in batches, simply double or triple the recipe to fit your needs.

While you can use a chilled martini glass for this recipe a room temperature will work just fine. Just be sure to use ice when shaking the mixture so you have a chilled drink.

Ingredients Needed For This Cheesecake Cocktail:

  • 1 Ounce Amaretto
  • 2 Ounces Vanilla Vodka
  • 2 Ounces Half & Half (or cream of choice)
  • 1 Ounce Kahlua

Optional Ingredients:

  • Honey (optional for getting crumbs to stick to glass)
  • Graham Cracker Crumbs (optional for the rim of the glass)
  • Ice (optional to make the drink extra cold)

How To Make A Cheesecake Martini Cocktail:

Place the honey in a small dish or plate just large enough for the rim of your cocktail glass to fit into. Do the same with the crumbs of the graham crackers.

Now tip the rim of your martini glasses into the honey. Then dip it into the graham cracker crumbs. Set the glass aside. The graham cracker rim is optional but does add that little extra flavor of a cheesecake graham cracker crust.

Place a handful of ice (if using) in your cocktail shaker. If you don’t have a shaker you can use a tall glass or jar with a lid.

To the shaker add vodka, Kahlua, cream, and amaretto.

Shake for 30 seconds or until it is fully mixed and ice cold. Then strain drink mixture into prepared glass. Be sure not to let the ice fall into the glass.

Different Cream Options:

If you are lactose intolerant or just don’t drink milk or use half and half, there are a few other options you can use in place of the half and half.

You can use heavy cream, whole milk, almond milk, oat milk, or even coconut milk if you want. You just want to use something that is pretty creamy to get that creamy texture you enjoy with cheesecake.
